Nora McInerny is a writer from Minneapolis. She authored It’s Okay to Laugh (Crying is Cool Too) following the death of her husband at the age of 35. She is the host of American Public Media’s Terrible Thanks for Asking podcast and the founder of Still Kickin, a nonprofit dedicated to building a braver, more supportive world.

A representative from the SUDC Foundation will join us as the evening’s keynote. The SUDC Foundation is the only organization worldwide whose purpose is to promote awareness, advocate for research, and support those affected by SUDC, all at no cost to families. The vision of the foundation is a world without Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood.
